Samples taken for testing are normally sent to The Doctor's Laboratory (TDL). The samples are collected from the practice by regular courier service and transported to the laboratory.

TDL is a medically led laboratory and is the largest independent provider of diagnostic services in the UK. Most results are available within 24 hours. Special tests may take longer.
Samples taken for cancer testing are sent to Datar Cancer Genetics. The samples are collected from the practice by a dedicated courier as required and transported directly to the laboratory.

Certain special investigation & imaging tests are highly operator-dependent. Not only is a scanner of the correct power crucial, but so is the team of specialist radiologists interpreting the results. For MP-MRI Imaging, for instance, we recommend the services of King Edward VII’s Hospital Imaging Department, and Professor Punwani’s Team of Onco-Radiologists.
The Practice provides 24 hour cover throughout the week and at weekends. In an emergency simply call 020 7370 0920 and follow the instructions.
